DA is a cesspool

I have been on DA a long ass time now. I joined on my original account in August 2004, I was a freshmen in highschool. DA was fun, there were a ton of wonderful artists. I have watched DA decline A LOT over the last 12 years. The worst part is all the art theft, and DA WILLINGLY IGNORING IT. Now DA has completely removed the ability to report art theft, since they are apparently to fucking lazy to do anything about it. They would rather shove the stupid useless membership down your throat since it makes them shit loads of money. Also, the amount of child porn on here is terrifying and is another issue that DA completely refuses to do anything about.
I am actually really considering packing up this account and telling this place to kiss my ass. Why should I support a site that ignores something like art theft?

Its been forever.

So I haven't updated my journal on here in over a year. @_@ Life has just been so crazy since last September that keeping this place up to date was the least of my worries.
I won't go into details but lets just say I basically needed a mental health break for the last year. I've been in therapy with some pretty severe depression for about 8 months and am finally just now really getting back on my feet again. Its been awful but I worked through it with a great deal of help from my therapist, friends and family. With all I had going on I really stopped drawing other then it being a means of expressing negative feelings, so there wasn't much I was comfortable sharing with anyone else. I have started drawing again and hopefully will get back in the swing again soon.

Hello again DA

Yes, I've been here before, but a series of events made me leave, and now, a year later I have returned with a fresh account. I hope it keeps the brand new account smell for a while.

You'll have to pardon my lack of art for a while, since my computer with all my drawings scanned on it decided to die last Wednesday RIGHT when I was assigned my final English essay. I'm since done school, and am just chilling out in the dorms until final crits happen on Wednesday, then I shall be back home on Friday. Art school was amazing, I loved it more then anything. Saying it is a million times better then my previous educational facilities would be a very drastic understatement.
The pictures I will be posting I shall take with my camera until I get home and have unpacked my scanner. Nothing to amazing to post. Art school consumed most of my time, and thus I have created nothing much. I do have some drawings I did for school that I'm rather proud of that I shall slap up here.
Anywho, off to do something else.
